Meski belasan orang telah diamankan, namun polisi menyebut provokator utama aksi penjarahan rumah Uya masih dalam pengejaran.
“Sudah belasan orang yang diamankan. Ada dua pokok perkara yang terjadi malam itu, penyerangan terhadap petugas dan penjarahan,” kata Kasatreskrim Polres Metro Jakarta Timur, AKBP Dicky Fertoffan saat dikonfirmasi awak media, termasuk Tribunnews.com, Selasa (2/9/2025).
Kasatreskrim Polres Metro Jakarta Timur, AKBP Dicky Fertoffan menjelaskan, sebagian besar pelaku yang ditangkap adalah warga di sekitar lokasi kejadian.
Mereka mengaku motifnya hanya ingin mencari keuntungan dari hasil jarahan.
“Motifnya mencari untung saja, biar menguasai harta kan,” ujarnya.
Namun polisi menduga ada pihak lain yang memprovokasi massa hingga nekat merangsek masuk dan menjarah rumah Uya.
Seperti diketahui rumah Uya Kuya dijarah massa pada 30 Agustus 2025 malam.
Massa merusak pagar, menghancurkan kaca dan mengambil sejumlah barang.
Bahkan beberapa kucing peliharaan Uya Kuya juga hingga kini belum ditemukan.
