Aksi ini dipimpin oleh Partai Buruh dan Konfederasi Serikat Pekerja Indonesia (KSPI) bersama koalisi serikat pekerja lainnya, untuk menuntut kenaikan upah minimum 2026 sebesar 8,5–10,5 persen serta penghapusan outsourcing.
Dalam keterangan resminya, Said Iqbal menyebut ada enam isu utama yang akan dibawa dalam aksi buruh 28 Agustus 2025, yaitu:
Naikkan upah minimum 2026 sebesar 8,5–10,5 persen.
Hapus outsourcing dan cabut PP 35/2021 sesuai putusan MK.
Stop PHK massal dengan membentuk Satgas PHK nasional.
Reformasi pajak buruh, termasuk menaikkan PTKP dari Rp 4,5 juta menjadi Rp 7,5 juta per bulan, serta menghapus pajak pesangon, pajak THR, dan pajak JHT.
Sahkan RUU Ketenagakerjaan baru paling lambat dua tahun sesuai perintah MK.
