Krisensitzung im Bundesrat: Offener Brief fordert Wegner-Rückzug!
Berlin – Am Vormittag des ersten Blackout-Samstags hatte Wegner nicht telefoniert, sondern nur Textnachrichten auf dem Handy verschickt. Das hatte er in Interviews aber zunächst anders dargestellt, was bundesweit für Empörung sorgte. Im März korrigierte sich Wegner in BILD. Erst am Mittag des 3. Januar habe er auch in Telefongesprächen konferiert – nachdem so langsam die Dimensionen der betroffenen Haushalte und die Dauer des Stromausfalls deutlich wurden.Entscheidend wird für Wegner heute eine Krisen-Sitzung mit den zwölf Kreisvorsitzenden ab 18.30 Uhr. Obwohl es Unruhe wegen der schlechten Umfragewerte für die Hauptstadt-CDU gibt (CDU rutschte ab auf 17 Prozent), sieht es nicht nach einer Mehrheit für einen Putsch aus. Vor allem, weil es so kurz vor der Berlin-Wahl (20. September) keine Alternative gibt. BILD-Reporter Michael Engelberg berichtet aus dem Bundesrat.
