Hasto terlihat tiba di Gedung Polda Metro Jaya sekira pukul 10.00 WIB.
Kedatangan Hasto ini didampingi oleh tim penasehat hukum PDIP dan juga pengacara pribadinya Patra M Zen.
Dalam keterangannya, Hasto menyatakan bahwa sebagai warga negara yang bertanggung jawab, dirinya memenuhi panggilan tersebut.
Diketahui pelaporan terhadap Hasto ini disebabkan pernyataannya dalam wawancara televisi nasional soal dugaan kecurangan Pemilu 2024.
Hasto menjelaskan bahwa pernyataannya tersebut merupakan bentuk tanggung jawabnya untuk melakukan pendidikan politik dan fungsi komunikasi politik yang melekat pada partai.
Adapun Hasto dan tim kuasa hukumnya juga membawa sejumlah bukti pendukung.
Sebelumnya kedatangan Hasto ini sudah dikonfirmasi oleh pengacara Ronny Talapessy.
Hasto dilaporkan terkait dugaan tindak pidana penghasutan dan atau penyebaran informasi elektronik bohong yang menimbulkan kegaduhan.
