И вот исследователи из Северо-Западного университета наконец обнаружили слабый, но устойчивый ветер, исходящий от Стрельца A* — чёрной дыры массой в четыре миллиона солнечных масс, скрывающейся в 26 000 световых лет от Земли. Это открытие помогает разгадать одну из самых давних загадок астрономии: как материя и энергия покидают область вокруг чёрной дыры, которую раньше считали относительно спокойной.
