4 Unique Scans I Use to Find Epic Stocks
Ishmohit spent years counting how many times analysts said "congratulations" on conference calls. That habit is now a scan you can sort.Try StockScans: https://www.stockscans.in/home

It is one of four unusual ways to cut through thousands of listed companies and find the ones actually worth researching.
Ishmohit and Amit walk through all four: the Congrats Index and management sentiment, interrogating businesses with Research AI, checking the exact concall passages behind an answer, scanning entire industries, and seeing which companies keep surfacing across unrelated scans.
The point is not to hand you stock ideas. It is to make the first problem smaller. Instead of starting with thousands of listed companies, you end with a reading list that has actually earned your attention.
StockScans is built by us, and the video says so.
The principle behind everything here is simple. Screening is not a substitute for the work. It is a way of getting to the work faster.

WHAT WE GET INTO
1. THE CONGRATS INDEX
Years ago, Ishmohit and a friend divided the concall universe between them by sector and read transcripts manually.
They started counting how often analysts congratulated management after results. Good quarter, warm room. It was half a joke. The pattern kept showing up.
Today that behaviour can be screened and sorted, alongside the summary of what actually changed on the call.
2. RESULT QUALITY AND MANAGEMENT SENTIMENT
Every concall can be filtered by result quality and management sentiment.
Excellent. Strong. Bullish. Optimistic.
The models also pick up language around inflection, operating leverage, margin expansion and industry-leading growth.
The summaries carry the guidance and the commitments, so a revenue guidance revision or a new plant timeline shows up before you open the transcript.
3. RESEARCH AI AND SOURCE CHECKING
Ask questions such as:
Why does management sound optimistic?
Is something structurally changing?
Has growth been inflecting over the last three quarters?
Is this worth my time?
Then click through to the exact concall passage the answer came from and read the source yourself.
4. INDUSTRY SCANNING AND SCAN MATCH
Instead of beginning with a financial metric, start with an industry.
See which companies have reported.
Sort the results.
Inspect what changed.
Check corporate actions and buybacks.
Then see which names keep appearing across otherwise unrelated scans. That overlap can help decide what deserves the deeper reading.
ALSO COVERED
• Scan Match on individual company pages
• Turning surfaced companies into a watchlist
• What an investor presentation can reveal
• A personal list of industries worth monitoring every results season
• Reading the summary first when a number looks wrong
Bottom line: Four unusual scans. One filtering process. A much smaller list of companies competing for your time.
