Seperti halnya di Brasil, ada lembaga khusus seperti Instituto Brasileiro do Meio Ambiente e dos Recursos Naturais Renováveis (IBAMA) untuk menangani karhutla secara sistemik dan terintegrasi.
Hal itu disampaikannya dalam Dialektika Demokrasi bertema "Mendorong Penguatan Penanganan dan Pencegahan demi Menekan Penyebaran Karhutla", di Kompleks Parlemen Senayan, Kamis (31/7/2025).
Firman menyatakan bahwa pendekatan pemadaman saja tidaklah cukup, karena edukasi untuk masayarakat di tingkat desa itu juga perlu terkait pengamanan hutan lewat skema perhutanan sosial. (TribunVideo.com)
