Bersamaan dengan hal itu, pasukan Israel justru semakin intensif melakukan serangan di Gaza.
Dilansir dari Tribunnews.com, 59 warga Palestina di Gaza dilaporkan tewas seusai militer Israel melepaskan tembakan di dekat pusat bantuan.
Hal itu dibenarkan Gerakan Palang Merah dan Bulan Sabut Merah Internasional.
Berdasarkan penjelasannya, 25 orang meninggal langsung saat tiba di lokasi kejadian.
Sementara itu, enam lainnya meninggal dunia seusai menjalani perawatan pasca-dihantam serangan di dekat pusat distribusi bantuan di kota Gaza selatan.
Organisasi itu menyatakan, menerima 132 pasien yang mengalami cedera akibat senjata Israel.
"Sebagian besar pasien ini menderita luka tembak, dan semua individu yang tanggap melaporkan bahwa mereka berusaha mengakses lokasi distribusi makanan," kata Palang Merah Internasional, dikutip dari Sky News.
Jumlah kematian ini menurutnya menjadi gelombang kematian terbesar.
Bersamaan dengan ini upaya gencatan senjata yang tengah di bahas terancam gagal.
Pasalnya, Israel hingga kini enggan melakukan penarikan pasukan dari Gaza.
Bahkan, usulan gencatan senjata selama 60 hari di Gaza oleh Presiden Amerika Serikat, Donald Trump tak disetujui Hamas.
Lantas, pejabat Israel menyalahkan kebuntuan upaya gencatan senjata ini pada Hamas dengan menyebutnya sebagai kelompok yang keras kepala.
