Menurutnya, kebijakan ini terbilang suka-suka dan tidak baik di mata investor.
Hal itu disampaikan Ahok dalam Seminar Nasional dengan tema Golden Visa: antara Harapan dan Realita dalam Investasi Indonesia, Jakarta pada Sabtu (23/8/2025).
"Hari ini bagaimana investor bisa percaya kita ketika dilihat menyusun anggaran kita suka-suka," kata Ahok.
Ahok menyebut, jika dalam dunia bisnis, cara menarik utang baru untuk membayar utang lama bisa dianggap bisnis yang tengah dijalankan sedang bangkrut.
"Tahun depan mau narik Rp 700-an triliun untuk bayar utang, kalau dalam bisnis lu udah bangkrut. Itu kalau kampung saya gali lubang tutup lubang," imbuhnya.
Ia pun menilai, pengelolaan negara saat ini buruk karena dalam menyusun anggaran asal-asalan.
"Menyusun anggaran ngaco banget," pungkas Ahok.
