Menurutnya, ruang fiskal dalam Rancangan Anggaran Pendapatan dan Belanja Negara (RAPBN) 2026 terbatas, sehingga sebagian besar difokuskan pada pembiayaan program-program prioritas nasional.
"Untuk gaji (kenaikan gaji PNS 2026), kita juga akan melihat pada fiscal space untuk tahun 2026 yang mayoritas diisi untuk program-program prioritas nasional," kata Sri Mulyani di Kantor Ditjen Pajak, Jakarta, Sabtu (16/8/2025).
Diungkapkan Sri Mulyani, APBN 2026 difokuskan untuk menyukseskan program-program yang masuk prioritas Presiden Prabowo.
Mulai dari Makan Bergizi Gratis (MBG), Koperasi Merah Putih, hingga Sekolah Rakyat (SR).
"MBG saja naik Rp 330 triliun sendiri. Jadi memang kenaikan belanja untuk beberapa prioritas pemerintah cukup besar," ujarnya.
