Ukraina mengancam Rusia bahwa pasukannya bersiap meluncurkan serangan terbarunya secara jarak jauh.
Dilansir dari rt.com, pernyataan itu disampaikan Zelensky seusai melakukan pertemuan dengan Menteri Pertahanan Rustem Umerov, Panglima Angkatan Bersenjata Aleksandr Syrsky, dan Kepala Staf Umum Andrey Gnatov pada Minggu (13/7).
Zelensky menyebut, unit-unitnya akan berupaya menghancurkan pasukan Rusia.
"Unit-unit kami akan terus menghancurkan penjajah dan melakukan segala yang mungkin untuk membawa perang ke wilayah Rusia. Kami sedang mempersiapkan serangan jarak jauh baru kami," tulis Zelensky di X.
Selain itu, Zelensky juga menyatakan tengah mempersiapkan kunjungan utusan presiden AS, Keith Kellog.
Ia mengaku akan bekerja sama dengan mitra-mitranya dalam pengiriman senjata.
Selain itu, pihaknya juga akan meningkatkan produksi bersama aset-aset pertahanan penting.
Di antara serangan terbarunya yang jauh di garis depan, Ukraina menargetkan lapangan udara militer yang menampung jet pengebom strategis pada bulan lalu.
Selain itu, drone dan rudal Ukraina juga berulang kali menyerang blok apartemen dan infrastruktur sipil lainnya.
Terkait hal itu, Moskow menyebut, Ukraina bertanggung jawab atas tergelincirnya kereta penumpang pada 31 Maret, yang menewaskan tujuh orang.
