Kasus pembunuhan yang menimpa seorang anggota TNI Kodim 0707/Wonosobo mendapat perhatian serius dari warga.
Korban yang merupakan warga Jambusari, Kecamatan Kertek, Kabupaten Wonosobo dikenal sebagai tokoh pemuda, tokoh masyarakat, sekaligus anggota TNI.
Salah satu warga bernama Ruli menyebut masyarakat merasakan duka mendalam atas kejadian yang menimpa korban hingga menggelar aksi untuk solidaritas.
Warga meminta pelaku dalam kasus ini dihukum mati.
Tidak ada ruang sedikit pun untuk pelaku dibebaskan ataupun dihukum ringan.
Warga juga akan terus mengawal kasus ini hingga ke tingkat kejaksaan.
Kapolres Wonosobo, AKBP M. Kasim Akbar Bantilan sempat menemui massa dan merespon tuntutan warga.
Kapolres Wonosobo menegaskan penanganan kasus ini akan dilakukan secara cepat dan transparan.
Sementara itu, Dandim 0707/Wonosobo, Letkol Inf Yoyok Suyitno, menyampaikan rasa duka dan harapan agar situasi tetap kondusif.
Ia bersyukur pelaku sudah ditangkap, dan berharap hal ini dapat meredakan keresahan masyarakat.
Dandim juga menegaskan agar hukuman yang dijatuhkan kepada pelaku sesuai hukum yang berlaku.
