有天早上，我在咖啡店盯著筆電發呆。
我看著信箱被塞滿、行程表排得密密麻麻。那一刻我突然有種感覺：忙了一整年，我卻不知道自己正往哪裡走。
原來過去的我，只顧著往前衝，卻沒停下來確認這方向是不是自己真正想要的。
在這段迷惘裡，我重新翻起史丹佛教授寫的《做自己的生命設計師》這本書。
書裡提醒我：問對問題，下一步才會出現；真正的改變，來自那個你今天就能跨出去的最小行動。
也因此，我想起了 Ian 伊恩。他從老師走到創作者、再到創業者，靠的就是把大夢想拆成小步驟，並打造一套就算失去動力，也能讓自己繼續前進的系統。
所以這一集，我特別邀請他與我一起聊聊這本我們都很喜歡的書，和他對談的過程中，我越來越明白：我們嚮往的人生，全都是靠一小步一小步「設計」出來的。
