Kabar ini diumumkan sayap militer Hamas pada Sabtu (31/5/2025).
Mereka telah menyergap pasukan Israel di daerah Al-Atatra di Beit Lahia, utara Jalur Gaza.
Saat itu, pejuang Al-Qassam bertemu dengan pasukan infanteri Zionis saat akan kembali dari garis depan.
Melihat keberadaan IDF, mereka langsung melakukan penyerangan dari jarak dekat.
Penyerangan dilakukan menggunakan senjata ringan.
Sejumlah tentara Israel diklaim menjadi korban luka maupun tewas.
Insiden ini sendiri diklaim terjadi pada (27/5) yang lalu.
Sebelumnya, Brigade Al-Qassam dan Brigade Al-Quds melakukan penyergapan bersama.
Mereka menargetkan pasukan Israel yang berlindung di dalam sebuah rumah di Khan Yunis, selatan Jalur Gaza.
Serangan tersebut juga diklaim membunuh maupun melukai tentara Israel.
