Presiden Partai Buruh Said Iqbal mengatakan tunjangan yang didapat DPR tidak masuk akal jika dibandingkan dengan kenaikan upah buruh yang hanya ratusan ribu.
Pernyataan itu disampaikan oleh Said Iqbal dalam aksi demonstrasi yang digelar pada Kamis (28/8).
Said Iqbal menegaskan bahwa tunjangan Rp 50 juta per bulan untuk sewa rumah sangat mahal.
"Nyewa di mana itu Rp 600.000.000? Di surga? Mahal banget,” ujar Iqbal.
Iqbal mengatakan, bahwa keputusan DPR menambah komponen tunjangan sangat melukai rasa keadilan.
Sebab kebijakan itu diambil di tengah upah murah yang dihadapi buruh.
Iqbal juga turut menyoroti respons anggota DPR yang justru asyik berjoget-joget ketika besaran tunjangan mereka dikritisi banyak pihak.
Adapun dalam aksi kali ini, Iqbal menegaskan bahwa buruh menuntut pemerintah untuk menaikan upah minimum sebesar 8,5 persen hingga 10,5 persen.
Iqbal mengatakan, data inflasi dari Badan Pusat Statistik antara Oktober 2024 hingga September 2025 tercatat 3,26 persen.
Sementara, pertumbuhan ekonomi pada periode yang sama diperkirakan 5,1 hingga 5,2 persen.
Maka jika dijumlahkan, angka kenaikan upah minimum 2026 mestinya mencapai 8,5 persen. (Tribun-Video.com/Kompas.com)
