X-nano, grafite sintetica sostenibile made in Italy

Nata nel 2022 dall’Istituto italiano di tecnologia (Iit) di Milano, X-nano è una startup specializzata in soluzioni per la transizione energetica che ha brevettato un processo industriale per la produzione sostenibile di grafite - materiale critico per le batterie delle auto elettriche, prodotto in gran parte in Cina - e idrogeno da metano, sottoprodotto usato come fonte energetica. Grazie a un nuovo round di investimenti da 3.7 milioni di euro chiuso sotto la guida di MITO Tech Ventures, X-nano punta ora alla costruzione del primo impianto per la produzione di grafite sintetica in Italia.
