Peradi Bersatu Geram Sentil Roy Suryo soal Penafsiran UU ITE: Jangan Sok Berlagak Seperti Advokat!

Sebelumnya, Roy Suryo menyebut UU ITE tidak layak dijadikan dasar untuk mempidanakan kasus ijazah palsu.
Ia juga menilai UU ITE kerap digunakan secara sewenang-wenang dan menimbulkan banyak korban.
Namun, Ade Darmawan menegaskan bahwa penafsiran undang-undang bukanlah wewenang Roy Suryo.
Ia pun menyindir Roy Suryo yang bukan berlatar belakang hukum tapi berani menafsirkan UU.
Menurut Ade, hanya advokat, jaksa, hakim, dan polisi yang berhak menafsirkan undang-undang secara sah.
Dikutip dari Tribunnews, pernyataan itu disampaikan Ade Darmawan di Mapolda Metro Jaya, Selasa (10/6/2025).
“Roy Suryo jangan bergaya seperti advokat, itu tidak dibenarkan,” tegasnya.
Menurutnya, pakar telematika itu tidak memiliki dasar hukum untuk menentukan pasal yang tepat dalam suatu perkara.
Bahkan Ade mengatakan penafsiran keliru justru bisa mengaburkan proses hukum yang sedang berjalan.
Meski demikian, Peradi Bersatu mendesak polisi segera meningkatkan status kasus tuduhan ijazah palsu Jokowi ke tahap penyidikan.
