El Ministerio de Comercio de China subrayó que el país se opone a las restricciones voluntarias a sus exportaciones de vehículos híbridos a Europa. La Unión Europea instó a China a limitar de forma voluntaria las exportaciones de híbridos al mercado europeo para evitar hacer frente a nuevos aranceles. El Ministerio de Comercio agregó que estas restricciones violan las normas de la Organización Mundial del Comercio y la competencia leal.
