Hingga akhirnya, ia ditangkap di Bandara Kannur dalam penerbangan dari Muscat pada Selasa (28/5/2024).
Intelijen khusus Direktorat Intelijen Pendapatan (DRI - Kannur) mencegat Surabhi setibanya dari Muscat di Bandara Internasional Kannur.
Selanjutnya penggeledahan pun dilakukan.
Setelah diinterogasi, Surabhi dibawa ke hadapan hakim yurisdiksi.
Ia pun ditahan selama 14 hari di penjara wanita di Kannur.
