I Turned Old Gravel and Cement into a FIRE PORTAL!
I wanted a fire pit that looked like a real part of the backyard — not just a pile of concrete.So I decided to build one from scratch using gravel, white cement, and an old washing machine drum.
The drum became the center of the mold, while the outer form was built around it. After the concrete cured, I removed the form,
cleaned up the surface, and gave the whole piece a finished look.
Then came the hard part — getting this heavy concrete ring into the backyard and turning it into an actual fire pit.
The final result is a simple, solid fire pit made mostly from materials that were already lying around the workshop.
