Dikutip dari Al Arabiya, pernyataan ini disampaikan oleh Menteri Luar Negeri Mesir, Minggu (17/8).
Langkah ini muncul di tengah upaya gencatan senjata dan pembahasan pengelolaan wilayah pasca perang.
Mesir dikabarkan menyerukan persatuan Palestina di bawah Organisasi Pembebasan Palestina (PLO).
Di sisi lain, Mesir dilaporkan telah mengirimkan bantuan kemanusiaan ke wilayah Gaza.
Bantuan ini mencakup pangan, obat-obatan, dan kebutuhan dasar lainnya bagi warga terdampak konflik.
Pengiriman bantuan dilakukan melalui perbatasan Rafah, jalur utama masuknya bantuan dari Mesir ke Gaza.
Lantas, upaya ini sejalan dengan kesiapan Mesir bergabung dalam pasukan internasional.
