Russia’s Putin Says Won't Back Down Against Ukraine, Responds To Trump's Conspiracy Accusation |N18G

Russian President Vladimir Putin has stated that the war with Ukraine will continue unless a peace deal is finalised. He emphasised that Russia is willing to fight for all its objectives against Ukraine. Putin also mentioned that he is ready to meet Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky if he agrees to visit Moscow. Putin made these remarks during his speech in China, where he attended the country’s largest military parade and met with President Xi Jinping and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. Putin also responded to US President Donald Trump's accusation that Russia, China, and North Korea were conspiring against the US. The talks between Russia and Ukraine have stalled despite efforts by Trump, who held separate meetings with both Putin and Zelensky last month. Trump is scheduled to speak with Zelensky on Thursday as the deadline given to Putin to reach a decision over a peace deal has expired. Meanwhile, Zelensky met with Nordic and Baltic leaders in Denmark and is also set to hold talks with European leaders on Thursday, in an event co-hosted by French President Emmanuel Macron.
