Savic memastikan pertemuan lima warga Nahdliyin tersebut bersifat pribadi bukan mengatasnamakan organisasi.
Menindaklanjuti hal ini, Savic mengatakan pihaknya masih pikir-pikir soal sanksi.
Persoalan ini harus dibawa dulu ke dalam rapat pengurus PBNU.
Meski begitu, Savic berujar, Ketua Umum PBNU Yahya Cholil Staquf dapat langsung memutuskan sanksi tanpa harus menunngu rapat.
Adapun momen pertemuan ini diunggah oleh warga Nahdliyin bernama Zen Maarif di akun Instagramnya.
Dalam keterangannya, Zen menyatakan dalam pertemuannya dengan Herzog, dirinya selaku filsuf-agamawan.
Zen menuliskan, dirinya bersama rombongan berdialog langsung dengan Herzog di Istana Presiden Israel.
Pertemuan tersebut membahas mengenai konflik antara Hamas-Israel dan relasi Indonesia-Israel.
Adapun tangkapan layar unggahan ini kemudian disebar di media sosial X dan jadi perbincangan.
Banyak kecaman yang diberikan oleh netizen terhadap pertemuan tersebut.
Bahkan singkatan NU kemudian diplesetkan menjadi Netanyahu United yang kemudian menjadi trending di X.
Saat ini akun Instagram Zen pun terpantau sudah dikunci.
