Seperti dalam video sejumlah pernyataan Hasto yang diunggah di akun media sosial (Medsos) Instagram politisi PDIP Adian Napitulu tengah mencuri perhatian publik.
Hasto mengatakan secara terang-terangan bahwa, demi meloloskan revisi Undang-Undang (UU) KPK, ada seorang menteri yang tak disebut namanya mengatakan Jokowi membutuhkan biaya sebesar 3 juta USD.
Sekjen PDIP itu mengatakan bahwa hal itu dilakukan Jokowi demi melindungi Gibran dan Bobby.
Sehingga dalam hal ini Jokowi memilik kepentingan tersendiri.
Hasto mengatakan bahwa revisi UU KPK dilaksannakan sebelum pelaksanaan Pilkada
Serentak 2024.
Di mana Gibran dan Bobby saat itu tengah berproses menjadi wali kota.
Sehingga ketika terpilih menjadi Wali Kota, putra sulung dan menantu Jokowi aman dari berbagai persoalan KPK karena lembaga antirasuah tersebut disebutnya telah dilemahkan.
Di akhir video, Hasto menyatakan bahwa pernyataanya tersebut akan dipertanggungjawabkan olehnya baik di mata hukum hingga Tuhan Yang Maha Esa.
Meski tidak ada bukti, namun Hasto meyakini bahwa hal itu turut dirasakan oleh masyarakat.
