Pembahasan itu dilakukan dalam rapat koordinasi di Kantor Kakorlantas, Pancoran, Jakarta Selatan, Rabu (4/6/2025).
Kakorlantas Polri Irjen Agus Suryonugroho memastikan melalui dasar hukum yang akan ditetapkan ini pelanggaran kendaraan kelebihan dimensi dan beban akan ditindak secara hukum.
Di samping itu, Wamenhub Suntana menegaskan pemerintah bakal menerbitkan Peraturan Presiden (Perpres) untuk mencapai target zero ODOL tahun ini.
Selain Perpres, pemerintah juga berencana menyepakati surat keputusan bersama (SKB) lintas kementerian sebagai langkah upaya penguatan.
Diharapkan dengan adanya penerbitan Perpres dan SKB pemberantasan pelanggaran kendaraan over dimensi dan overload dapat memberikan efek jera yang maksimal.
Saat kepolisian dan stakeholder terkait telah melakukan tahapan sosialisasi.
