Diduga pelaku dan korban sama-sama orang dalam gangguan jiwa (ODGJ).
Kendati demikian, polisi masih melakukan pendalaman lebih lanjut terkait kasus mayat dimutilasi yang ditemukan dalam karung tersebut.
Diketahui, jasad korban ditemukan di pinggir Jalan Raya Cibalong, Kampung Bantar Limus, Desa Sancang, Cibalong, Garut, Jawa Barat.
Aksi teduga pelaku menunjukkan potongan tubuh korban terekam dalam sebuah kamera amatir warga sekitar.
Dalam rekaman memperlihatkan seorang laki-laki mengenakan kaus warna biru sedang duduk di depan karung.
Mirisnya, karung tersebut berisi potongan-potongan tubuh manusia.
Bahkan, ada juga diduga potongan tubuh yang bercecer di depan terduga pelaku.
Terduga pelaku yang diduga ODGJ tersebut juga memperlihatkan senjata tajam (sajam).
Terlihat terduga pelaku sempat ditanyai oleh perekam terkait apa yang telah dilakukan terhadap korban.
Sampai berita ini ditayangkan pada Senin (1/7/2024) sekira pukul 09.00 WIB, pihak kepolisian masih melakukan pemeriksaan terhadap terduga pelaku.
