Pria tersebut dinyatakan bersalah atas tuduhan bekerja sama dengan badan intelijen Israel, Mossad.
Mata-mata Israel tersebut diketahui bernama Bahman Choobiasl.
Choobiasl digantung setelah Mahkamah Agung menolak bandingnya.
Ia dituduh bertemu dengan pejabat Mossad dan terlibat dalam proyek telekomunikasi strategis.
Menurut laporan, Mossad mengincar basis data lembaga pemerintah Iran dan menyusup ke pusat data, termasuk jalur impor peralatan elektronik.
Tindakan tersebut dinilai menjadi ancaman serius terhadap keamanan Teheran.
"Selain itu, ia dituduh bertujuan untuk menciptakan celah keamanan di pusat-pusat data strategis milik Iran, sebuah tindakan yang dianggap sebagai ancaman serius terhadap keamanan nasional," ujar Mizan.
Eksekusi ini merupakan yang ke-10 sejak perang 12 hari pada Juni lalu antara Israel, Amerika Serikat, dan Iran.
Bulan ini saja, Choobiasl adalah orang kedua yang dieksekusi atas tuduhan spionase untuk Israel.
Awal bulan ini, Iran juga mengeksekusi Babak Shahbazi dengan tuduhan spionase.
Namun, kelompok hak asasi menuding jika Shahbazi disiksa hingga membuat pengakuan palsu.
