Pengukuhan Megawati sebagai Ketua Umum PDIP periode 2025-2030 ini berlangsung dalam Kongres ke-6 PDIP di Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center, Badung, Bali pada Jumat (1/8/2025).
Sebelumnya PDIP telah menggelar bimbingan teknis (bimtek) nasional yang diikuti sebanyak 3.200 anggota DPR, DPRD provinsi, dan DPRD kabupaten/kota.
Dalam bimtek PDIP baru-baru ini, Megawati menegaskan pentingnya solidaritas partai, gotong royong, dan dukungan terhadap pemerintahan Prabowo Subianto.
Diketahui Megawati telah memimpin PDIP sejak 1999, menjadikannya salah satu ketua umum partai politik terlama di Indonesia.
Sementara itu berdasarkan pantauan di lokasi, atribut partai berlambang moncong banteng telah memenuhi area di Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center.
Puluhan bendera merah putih dan bendera PDIP tampak menghiasi ruang utama kongres.
Tampak janur kuning berdiri tegak serta ornamen Bali tampak menghiasi pintu masuk arena kongres.
Sejumlah Satgas Cakra Buana dan pecalang tampak berjaga mengamankan arena kongres.
Terlihat juga mobil Ketua DPR RI Puan Maharani sekitar pukul 13.48 WITA.
Sejauh ini, awak media belum diperkenankan memasuki hall yang menjadi tempat digelar Kongres ke-6 PDIP.
