Kuasa Hukum Pegi Tak Terima Pengajuan Gelar Perkara Khusus Ditolak, Rencana akan Temui Jokowi
TRIBUN-VIDEO.COM - Pengajuan gelar perkara khusus yang diajukan tim kuasa hukum Pegi Setiawan ditolak oleh kepolisian.Merespons hal itu, tim kuasa hukum Pegi berencana akan menemui presiden dan meminta audiensi dengan Kapolri.
Salah satu anggota tim kuasa hukum Pegi, Toni RM mengaku kecewa atas penolakan pengajuan gelar perkara khusus yang diajukan pihak kepolisian.
Ia menilai keputusan ini tidak mencerminkan keadilan bagi kliennya yang saat ini menghadapi ancaman hukuman berat.
"Kami melihat berita, Kadiv Humas Polri mengatakan tidak perlu melakukan gelar perkara khusus, walaupun kami belum mendapatkan jawaban tertulis, berarti statmen itu tidak melayani kami sebagai masyarakat mencari keadilan yang memohon gelar perkara khusus," ujar Toni RM saat dikonfirmasi, Sabtu (22/6/2024).
Menurut Toni, alasan Kadiv Humas Polri yang menyebut bukti yang ada sudah cukup dianggap tidak memadai.
Toni juga menyoroti pentingnya respons terhadap pengajuan ini sebagai bagian dari pelayanan hukum dan penegakan keadilan.(Tribun-Video.Com)
