Yuni Enumbi sendiri dulunya merupakan anggota Tentara Nasional Indonesia (TNI) lalu membelot.
Diketahui, Enumbi ditetapkan sebagai tersangka utama atas dugaan penyelundupan senjata api ke wilayah konflik di Papua.
Ia merupakan mantan anggota TNI dari Kodam 18 Kasuari Papua Barat dengan pangkat Prada.
Kaops Damai Cartenz, Brigjen Pol Faizal Ramadhani menyebut, pelaku diserahkan ke kejaksaan pada Selasa (27/5/2025).
"Penyerahan ini adalah bagian dari komitmen Satgas Operasi Damai Cartenz dalam menegakkan hukum terhadap anggota KKB yang mengganggu keamanan Papua," ujar Kaops Damai Cartenz, Brigjen Pol Faizal Ramadhani, Selasa.
Pihaknya juga menyerahkan sejumlah barang bukti pendukung.
Total, ada 36 item barang bukti yang diserahkan mulai dari dua pucuk senjata laras panjang.
Selain itu, ada ratusan butir amunisi berbagai kaliber hingga uang tunai ratusan juta rupiah.
Menurut penyelidikan, Yuni Enumbi membeli senjata api ilegal dari Pulau Jawa.
Lalu, membawanya ke Papua menggunakan jalur laut serta jasa ekspedisi.
Senjata-senjata itu disembunyikan di dalam kompresor yang telah dilas untuk mengelabui pemeriksaan.
Dalam pengakuannya, Yuni menyebut membeli senjata tersebut seharga Rp 1,3 miliar.
Senjata itu rencananya akan diserahkan kepada KKB di wilayah Puncak Jaya.
