Pasalnya, AS mengklaim hanya mampu menghancurkan satu dari tiga lokasi nuklir Teheran.
Dikutip dari The Jerusalem Post, hal itu disampaikan pejabat AS yang tak ingin disebutkan namanya pada Kamis (17/7).
Ia mengatakan serangan AS sebagian besar menghancurkan satu dari tiga lokasi nuklir Iran yang menjadi target.
Sebaliknya, dua lokasi nuklir Iran tidak mengalami kerusakan parah.
Pejabat AS menduga dua lokasi nuklir Iran itu hanya mengalami degradasi.
Meski begitu, pejabat AS meyakini serangan itu mampu menunda kemampuan pengayaan uranium hingga dua tahun.
Di satu sisi, Gedeung Putih belum memberikan komentar terkait pernyataan pejabat AS itu.
Namun sebelumnya juru bicara utama Pentagon Sean Parnel mengatakan bahwa Presiden AS Donald Trump sudah mebmerikan penjelasan yang jelas.
Adapun Trump menyebut fasilitas nuklir Iran di Fordow, Isfahan, dan Natanz telah dihancurkan sepenuhnya.
Trump mengatakan tidak ada keraguan tentang hal itu.
