Hari Bhayangkara diperingati setiap 1 Juli. Tahun ini HUT ke-78 Bhayangkara jatuh pada Senin 1 Juli 2024 kemarin.
Kedua kurir narkoba tersebut langsung ditangkap di rumah kontrakan di Parung Serab, Ciledug, Tangerang, Senin (1/7/2024) malam dengan barang bukti 72 bungkus sabu.
Dirresnarkoba Polda Metro Jaya Brigjen Hengki menyatakan sindikat kurir narkoba itu dimungkinkan memanfaatkan di HUT Bhayangkara, ketika pihak kepolisian sedang sibuk dalam perayaan HUT Bhayangkara.
Beruntung, berdasar dari laporan masyarakat, pihak kepolisian akhirnya menangkap dua kurir tersebut beserta menggerebek rumah kontrakan untuk menjadi gudang penyimpanan sabu.
Awalnya Polda Metro Jaya berhasil menangkap dua orang kurir narkoba berinisial R (29) dan A (19) beserta sabu seberat 1 kilogram.
Setelah dilakukan penggeledahan yang pertama dijumpai barang bukti 1 kilogram yang disimpan di tas dan juga ditemukan kontrakan.
Setelahnya, polisi melakukan pengembangan menuju sebuah kontrakan tersebut. Di lokasi, polisi kembali mendapatkan barang bukti narkoba jenis sabu.
Hengki mengatakan terdapat 72 kilogram sabu yang dibungkus kemasan teh Cina di kontrakan tersebut.
Hengki belum menjelaskan lebih detil terkait asal muasal barang haram hingga sejak kapan kedua kurir tersebut beraksi.
