El turismo de cruceros en el río Yangtsé se perfila como un nuevo emblema capaz de atraer la atención mundial.A las 6:30 de la mañana, un crucero lleno de turistas partió desde Yichang, en Hubei, rumbo a Chongqing, con destino al muelle de Chaotianmen. A bordo, muchos viajeros internacionales disfrutan de un desayuno que combina sabores chinos y occidentales. Según la compañía de cruceros, en esta temporada alta, la mayoría de los pasajeros son extranjeros, quienes llegan a representar hasta el 70 % del total.
