«Visto che il tema è l'Europa e l'integrazione, cercherò di parlare del futuro dell'Europa e del futuro dell'Italia, ma intanto dovremmo dare per scontato che esista un futuro, perchè con un tasso di fertilità all'1,41% in Europa il nostro futuro, quello del mondo che conosciamo, probabilmente è di corta durata». Lo ha detto Roberto Vannacci, leader di Futuro nazionale, durante il dibattito "Il progetto europeo tra integrazione e sovranità: il punto di vista italiano", presso il Forum Teha di Cernobbio. «Se vogliamo un futuro migliore per le prossime generazioni dobbiamo anche pensare di generarle le prossime generazioni, altrimenti il futuro migliore se lo godrà qualcun altro. E quindi - ha aggiunto - forse invece che un ReArm Europe sarebbe stato più coerente avere un Reborn Europe come strategia emergenziale». L’ex generale ha poi aggiunto nel suo discorso: «L'Europa fortunatamente cambia, i leaders più in pista traballano, Starmer che è già caduto, Farage che è pronto a lancio, Macron, Merz, Sanchez credo che non mangeranno il panettone del 2027 se non quello del 2026. In Francia Marine Le Pen è stata vincente in qualsiasi scenario possibile. L'Ungheria, la Slovacchia e la Bulgaria hanno l'atteggiamento dannunziano del 'me ne frego' davanti a Bruxelles».
