KPK Segera Bebaskan Hasto Kristiyanto Seusai Dapat Amnesti, Johanis Tanak Sebut Belum Dapat Surat

Pembebasan terhadap Hasto dilakukan seusai KPK menerima surat keputusan amnesti dari Presiden Prabowo.
Hal ini disampaikan oleh Wakil Ketua KPK Johanis Tanak dalam keterangannya pada Jumat (1/8).
Namun, Johanis menyebut hingga kini KPK belum menerima surat tersebut.
Menurut Johanis, segera setelah surat diterima, Hasto langsung dikeluarkan dari rumah tahanan KPK.
Hal tersebut sesuai dengan yang diamanatkan dalam Pasal 14 ayat 2 UUD 1945.
Sementara itu, juru bicara KPK Budi Prasetyo memastikan bahwa kasus dugaan suap dalam proses pergantian antar waktu (PAW) anggota DPR RI Harun Masiku tetap berlanjut meski ada amnesti.
Budi mengatakan bahwa KPK terus melakukan tugas pemberantasan korupsi mulai dari penindakan, pencegahan, pendidikan, dan koordinasi serta supervisi.
Sebagai informasi, DPR telah menyetujui amnesti untuk Hasto Kristiyanto yang telah divonis 3,5 tahun penjara oleh majelis hakim dalam kasus suap pergantian antar waktu (PAW) Fraksi PDIP DPR.
Amnesti sendiri merupakan pengampunan atau penghapusan hukuman seseorang atau sekelompok orang yang melakukan tindak pidana.
Hal tersebut jadi hak prerogatif yang dimiliki presiden mengenai hukum dan undang-undang di luar kekuatan badan-badan perwakilan.
