Setelah musim lalu menjabat sebagai Manajer tim, musim ini Bampang Pamungkas ditunjuk sebagai Direktur Olahraga Persija.
Pengumuman Bambang Pamungkas sebagai Direktur Olahraga Persija dilakukan pada acara 'Ngopi Bareng Persija' di Persija Cafe, Kuningan, Jakarta, Kamis (11/9/2025).
Direktur Persija Jakarta, Mohamad Prapanca mengatakan bahwa tugas dari Bambang Pamungkas turut membantu tim kepelatihan Persija hingga akademi Persija.
Bepe sendiri telah bekerja sejak awal musim dan membantu pelatih Mauricuo Souza dalam mendatangkan pemain-pemain anyar baik asing maupun lokal.
Hingga pekan keempat ini, Persija tampil diddaya dengan mengemas tiga kemenangan dan sekali imbang.

Sementara itu, Bepe mengatakan bahwa tahun ini dirinya bisa lebih fokus karena hanya menjabat sebagai Direktur Olahraga, tak seperti musim lalu yang ditugaskan sebagai manajer dan juga mengurusi semua aspek.
Selain mengurusi materi pemain senior. Bepe memaparkan dirinya juga mengurusi para pemain muda Persija.
Untuk manajer tim Persija kini dijabat oleh Ardhi Tjahjoko
