Hasil Pantau Hilal Tak Terlihat di Sorong karena Awan Tebal, Pengamatan Dilaporkan ke Jakarta

Kegiatan dimulai sejak pukul 16.30 WIT hingga menjelang Maghrib, dengan partisipasi berbagai pihak terkait.
Tim pemantauan terdiri dari Kementerian Agama (Kemenag) Kota Sorong, BMKG Kelas I Sorong, Pengadilan Agama, Nahdlatul Ulama (NU), Muhammadiyah, Pemerintah Daerah Kota Sorong, serta sejumlah organisasi Islam lainnya.
Berdasarkan koordinat lokasi pengamatan, posisi rukyatul hilal berada di Lintang 0° 52’ 7,05” LS dan Bujur 130° 14’ 47,05” BT, dengan ketinggian 6 meter di atas permukaan laut.
Menjelang matahari terbenam, cuaca di sekitar ufuk terpantau berawan tebal, sehingga kondisi langit tampak redup.
BMKG Sorong yang bertugas Dalam pengamatan hilal telah menyiapkan alat bantu seperti teleskop dan teodolit. Namun, hingga waktu yang diperkirakan, hilal tidak dapat diamati secara langsung.
Menurut data astronomi, hilal diperkirakan muncul pada pukul 18.31 WIT dengan ketinggian 6,26° di atas ufuk. Namun, kondisi awan tebal di langit barat Kota Sorong menghalangi visibilitas hilal.
Kepala Kemenag Kota Sorong, Muhudar Wailegi, menyampaikan bahwa hasil pemantauan ini akan dilaporkan ke Kementerian Agama RI sebagai bahan pertimbangan Dalam sidang isbat penentuan 1 Ramadan 1446 H.
“Kami telah melakukan rukyatul hilal seusai prosedur, tetapi karena cuaca yang berawan, hilal tidak bisa terlihat. Selanjutnya, kami akan menunggu keputusan resmi dari pemerintah pusat,” ujarnya.
Sementara itu, Kepala BMKG Kelas I Sorong, Deddy Irjayanto, mengatakan bahwa pemantauan hilal di Sorong terkendala cuaca yang kurang mendukung.
“Hilal tidak terlihat karena kondisi langit di ufuk barat tertutup awan tebal. Oleh karena itu, kita akan menunggu hasil sidang isbat di Jakarta untuk kepastian awal Ramadan,” jelasnya.
Meskipun hilal tidak terlihat, proses rukyatul hilal di Sorong berlangsung lancer hingga selesai. Kini, masyarakat menunggu hasil sidang isbat yang akan diumumkan oleh Kementerian Agama RI.
