Rute yang ditempuh dalam adara tes drive ini adalah Jakarta-Bandung, dengan jarak kurang lebih 185 KM.
Mobil ini juga telah hadir pada gelaran Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2025 beberapa waktu lalu. Head of Marketing PR and Government Relation BYD Auto Indonesia, Luther T Panjaitan, menuturkan bahwa BYD Sealion 7 ini menjadi primadona dalam gelaran tersebut.
"Terkait total pemesanan kami belum bisa sampaikan karena kami masih hitung secara keseluruhan, nanti angka pastinya kami sampaikan. Tapi yang jelas seperti pameran sebelumnya, model baru selalu menyumbang sampai 50 persen dari total keseluruhan,” jelas Luther.
Dalam acara tes drive ini, para awak media berkesempatan menjajalan BYD Sealionv7 dengan tipe paling tinggi, yakni Performance AWD (All Wheel Drive). Harga yang dibanderol untuk tipe ini adalah RP 719 juta.
Saat memasuki mobil, BYD Sealion 7 langsung menyuguhkan desain interior yang mewah nan ciamik. Jok model sport yang dibalut kulit, monitor berukuran besar, panoramic sunroof, menjadi faktor pendukung kenyamanan.
Soal tenaga pun tak perlu diragukan. BYD Sealion 7 tipe Performance AWD ini memiliki dua motor listrik pada roda depan dan belakang. Kemudian tenaganya kombinasi 390 kW atau 523 dk dan torsi puncak 690 Nm.
Oleh sebab itu, BYD Sealion 7 Performance AWD ini mengklaim memiliki tenaga besar. Bahkan, untuk berakselerasi dari 0-100 KM/jam, waktu yang dibutuhkan hanya 4,5 detik.
Terakhir menyoal baterai, BYD Sealion 7 Performance AWD ini berkapasitas 82,56 kwh, dengan jarak tempuh 542 KM untuk sekali pengecasan penuh.
