Hendra diketahui survei ke toko jam tangan mewah Prestigetime di Pantai Indah Kapuk 2, Tangerang sebanyak tiga kali sebelum beraksi pada 8 Juni lalu.
Dirreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Pol Wira Satya Triputra dalam rilis pada Jumat (14/6/2024) mengatakan, aksi survei yang dilakukan pelaku dilakukan pada 18 Mei, 25 Mei, dan 4 Juni.
Aksi Hendra itupun sempat terekam kamera CCTV toko.
Modusnya yakni berpura-pura sebagai customer.
Hal ini dilakukan Hendra untuk mencari tahu lokasi jam tangan mewah hingga karyawan yang bekerja di toko tersebut.
Sebagai informasi, Hendra menggondol 18 jam tangan mewah berbagai merek.
Sebanyak 10 buah jam tangan bermerek Rolex, enam buah jam tangan merek Audemars Piguet, dan dua jam tangan bermerek Patek Phillippe.
Akibat perampokan ini, pemilik toko mengalami kerugian hingga RP 12,85 miliar.
Adapun Hendra ditangkap polisi di sebuah hotel di kawasan Cipanas, Cianjur pada Selasa (11/6/2024) petang.
Dari tangan pelaku, polisi mengamankan 12 jam tangan yang belum sempat dijual.
