Keluarkan Surat Pers DPP, Partai PAN Resmi Nonaktifkan Uya Kuya dan Eko Patrio dari Anggota DPR RI

Pernyataan itu tertuang dalam surat Siaran Pers DPP Partai PAN, yang ditandatangani langsung oleh Ketua Umum, Zulkifli Hasan dan Wakil Ketua Umum, Viva Yoga Mauladi.
Dalam keterangannya, ada sejumlah poin yang disampaikan surat tersebut.
Diantaranya adalah penonaktifan anggota DPR RI, Uya Kuya dan Eko Patrio per Senin satu September 2025.
Hal itu buntut kegaduhan yang diakibatkan oleh dua tokoh tersebut, yang dinilai menyinggung dan mencederai perasaan rakyat.
Surat tersebut disertai denga permohonan maaf Partai PAN kepada seluruh rakyat Indonesia yang terdampak.
Adapun sebelumnya, Uya Kuya dan Eko Patrio menuai hujatan publik setelah kedapatan berjoget di forum DPR RI usai kenaikan tunjangan anggota DPR senilai Rp50 juta.
Hal tersebut membuat publik marah sehingga aksi demonstrasi besar-besaran pun dilakukan, dengan tuntutan utamanya penolakan tunjangan DPR.
