Juru Bicara Militer Israel Effie Defrin mengatakan, drone yang diluncurkan Iran butuh waktu beberapa jam untuk mencapai wilayahnya.
Israel mendeteksi drone Iran telah melintasi langit Irak satu jam yang lalu.
Saat ini, jet tempur Angkatan Udara Israel mulai menembak jatuh sejumlah drone.
Drone-drone tersebut dicegat di luar perbatasan Israel.
Laporan lain menyebutkan bahwa Yordania juga ikut menembak jatuh drone Iran karena melintasi wilayah udaranya.
Sebelumnya, pemimpin tertinggi Iran Ali Khamenei bersumpah akan membalas Israel dengan hukuman berat.
Namun siapa sangka, pembalasan dari Iran datang begitu cepat.
Serangan Israel hari ini telah menewaskan Komandan Garda Revolusi Jenderal Hossein Salami dan sejumlah ahli nuklir.
