Sự việc xảy ra khi cô gái N.T.T.H (tên viết tắt), sinh năm 2000, thuê nhà trọ tại phường Nghĩa Đô và phát hiện camera giấu kín được lắp đặt tinh vi trong ổ cắm điện trên tường. Sau khi phát hiện, cô gái đã thông báo cho công an, và các biện pháp ngăn chặn việc phát tán video đã được triển khai.
Sự việc lan truyền trên mạng xã hội gần đây cũng làm dấy lên nỗi lo ngại về việc lắp đặt camera quay lén trong các căn hộ chung cư và nhà trọ. Tại một nhà trọ ở phường Yên Nghĩa, quận Hà Đông, cũng đã xảy ra trường hợp tương tự, khi một số phòng của các cô gái trẻ bị lắp camera quay lén trong nhà vệ sinh. Chủ nhà trọ đã khai nhận hành vi này với lý do muốn xem người thuê trọ là nữ tắm, và đã bị xử phạt 12.5 triệu đồng.
Các cơ quan chức năng đang tiếp tục điều tra và xử lý nghiêm các hành vi vi phạm để bảo vệ quyền riêng tư và an toàn của người dân. Những sự việc này đang gây bức xúc và yêu cầu một xử lý nghiêm khắc hơn để ngăn chặn các vi phạm về quyền riêng tư và bảo vệ danh dự của cá nhân.
