Dalam momen tersebut, JK menyampaikan bela sungkawa kepada bangsa Palestina yang menjadi korban selama konflik.
Ia juga menegaskan sikap solidaritas serta dukungan bangsa Indonesia untuk kemerdekaan Palestina.
JK pun mengungkapkan bahwa kondisi Gaza telah menyita perhatian dunia.
Sebagai Ketua Palang Merah Indonesia, JK pun mengungkapkan betapa peliknya mendistribusikan bantuan ke Gaza akibat blokade Israel.
Oleh karena itu JK menyarankan agar organisasi Hamas tetap bersatu dengan Al Fatah demi menciptakan perbaikan di Palestina.
Selain itu JK juga mengusulkan pembuatan rencana kemanusiaan untuk Gaza.
Seperti menyusun program berdasarkan skala prioritas.
Namun, JK mengingatkan kepada Haniyeh, bahwa semua ini hanya bisa efektif jika kekerasan bisa dihentikan lebih dulu.
Sementara itu, Haniyeh pun mengaku sangat memuji peran diplomatik RI dalam pemberian bentuan kepada warga Gaza.
