TERRORANSCHLAG AUF BERLINER CSD: „Es muss Schluss sein, sich die islamistische Gefahr schönzureden!“

Nach dem mutmaßlich islamistisch motivierten Angriff auf einen Christopher Street Day spricht Volker Beck, Präsident der Deutsch-Israelischen Gesellschaft, über die Bedrohung durch islamistischen Extremismus. Er fordert, die Gefahr für die queere Community und für Jüdinnen und Juden klar zu benennen, zwischen demokratischen Muslimen und Islamisten zu unterscheiden sowie Sicherheitsmaßnahmen und das Vorgehen gegen extremistische Strukturen zu verschärfen. Beck warnt davor, Probleme aus Angst vor politischen Debatten zu relativieren, und plädiert für ein konsequentes Vorgehen gegen islamistische Organisationen.
