Update Tragedi Longsor Tambang Emas di Gorontalo: 20 Orang Tewas, 51 Korban Masih Hilang

Sementara 51 orang lainnya masih dinyatakan hilang dan dalam proses pencarian.
Dikutip dari Kompas.com, bertambahnya korban jiwa ini setelah tim gabungan menemukan sembilan jasad yang tertimbun longsor pada Selasa (9/7/2024) pagi.
Tujuh diantaranya dievakuasi menggunakan helikopter milik Polri dan dua lainnya ditandu Tim SAR.
Adapun tambang emas yang longsor berlokasi di Desa Tulabolo Timur, Kecamatan Suwawa Timur, Kabupaten Bone Bolango.
Kepala Pusat Informasi dan Komunikasi Kebencanaan BNPB Abdul Muhari menyebut, longsor dipicu oleh hujan deras yang berlangsung sejak Sabtu (6/7/2024).
Selain merenggut nyawa, bencana ini juga mengakibatkan jembatan terputus dan rumah rusak.
Abdul menuturkan, hujan lebat disertai angin kencang masih mungkin terjadi di Kabupaten Bone Bolango dan sebagian Provinsi Gorontalo lainnya hingga Selasa (9/7/2024) hari ini.
Untuk itu, ia mengimbau warga untuk mewaspadai bencana longsor susulan, khususnya di wilayah Kabupaten Bone Bolango.
