Arab Saudi resmi mengizinkan Klinik Kesehatan Haji Indonesia atau KKHI di Mekah beroperasi kembali.
Namun Kementerian Agama Indonesia masih harus koordinasi dengan Kementerian Dalam Negeri Arab Saudi terkait pengamanan dan fasilitas gedung klinik kesehatan.
Lampu hijau dari Kemenkes diberikan setelah pertemuan Amirul Haj, Nasaruddin Umar, dengan Menteri Kesehatan Saudi di Jeddah.
“Izin diberikan untuk penanganan di klinik,” ujar Menteri Agama Nasaruddin, mING
Namun, kasus gawat tetap harus dirujuk ke rumah sakit Saudi.
Kemenkes Saudi juga mempertanyakan tingginya angka kematian jamaah haji Indonesia tahun ini.
Termasuk sistem seleksi kesehatan jamaah yang dinilai perlu dievaluasi.
Dokter Indonesia sebelumnya tak diizinkan menangani pasien di tenda maupun hotel.
Semua pasien harus langsung dirujuk ke rumah sakit Arab Saudi.
Namun banyak jamaah enggan dirujuk karena kendala bahasa dan rasa takut.
“Banyak yang stres saat dibawa ke rumah sakit,” kata Taruna Ikrar, Anggota Amirul Haj bidang kesehatan.
Mereka lebih nyaman dirawat dokter Indonesia di KKHI.
Permintaan ini akhirnya dikabulkan oleh otoritas Saudi.
“Alhamdulillah, Menkes Saudi sangat kooperatif,” ujar Nasaruddin Umar.
Ia juga meminta agar hal ini jadi bahan evaluasi bersama.
“Bukan hanya tahun ini, tapi juga untuk masa depan,” ucapnya.
Data Siskohat mencatat, hingga 1 Juni, 115 jamaah wafat.
Angka ini naik dibanding tahun lalu yang hanya 98 di hari yang sama.
