Kedua tersangka tersebut yakni Wakil Ketua Kadin Cilegon Isbatullah dan Ketua LSM Banten Monitoring Perindustrian dan Perdagangan (BMPP), Zul Basit.
Dirreskrimum Polda Banten Kombes Dian Setyawan dalam rilis pada Rabu (11/6) mengatakan, pemerasan ini bermula dari pertemuan internal Kadin Cilegon pada 9 Mei lalu.
Pertemuan ini membahas mengenai proyek pembangunan pabrik PT Chandra Asri Alkali (CAA) yang dikerjakan oleh PT Total Bangun Persada dan PT China Chengda Engineering.
Adapun pihak yang hadir dalam pertemuan tersebut yakni Ketua Kadin Cilegon Muhammad Salim, General Affair Manager PT TBP Hariyanto serta tersangka Isbatullah.
Dalam pertemuan tersebut, Isbatullah merasa kecewa karena pihak Kadin hanya diberi proyek pemasangan keramik yang dianggap tak sesuai dengan perjanjian awal.
Isbatullah pun sempat meluapkan emosinya dengan memukul meja dan meneriaki pihak perusahaan.

Sementara itu, Zul Basit yang ikut terekam dalam video tersebut mengancam akan menutup pabrik jka keinginan pihak Kadin Cilegon tak dituruti.
Atas perbuatannya, kedua tersangka dijerat pasal pengancaman dengan ancaman hukuman sembilan tahun.
