Menurut Daniel, meskipun peraturan menyasar produsen, namun hal ini dianggap berdampak juga hingga para petani.
"Tentu akan sangat berdampak pada petani, meskipun PP 28/2024 menyasar pada produsen, tapi dampaknya bergulir hingga petani karena industri tembakau sifatnya berantai mulai dari hulu (petani), pekerja pabrik, industri, distribusi dan banyak yang terlibat di dalamnya," kata Daniel kepada wartawan, Senin (18/8/2025).
Berdasar data Dinas Perindustrian dan Perdagangan (Disperindag) juga, disebut lebih dari 300.000 petani lokal bergantung pada IHT.(TribunVideo.com)
