Pasca video itu jadi perbincangan di media sosial Trump dikabarkan lantas memberikan nasehatnya kepada Macron.
Trump memberikan nasehatnya secara singkat dengan menyebut " Itu tidak bagus".
Nasihat singkatnya itu disampaikan Trump di Ruang Oval sambil tertawa seperti yang dikabarkan New York Post pada (31/5/2025).
“Pastikan pintunya tertutup,” ujar Trump sambil terkekeh di Ruang Oval, seperti dikutip New York Post, Jumat (31/5/2025). “Itu tidak bagus,” tambahnya singkat.
Namun Trump menegaskan bahwa pasangan itu baik-baik saja.
“Saya sudah bicara dengannya dan dia baik-baik saja, mereka baik-baik saja,” ujar Trump.
“Mereka adalah dua orang yang sangat baik. Saya mengenal mereka dengan sangat baik. Saya tidak tahu apa sebenarnya yang terjadi, tapi saya tahu mereka baik-baik saja," imbuhnya.
Trump mengeluarkan komentarnya setelah insiden saat macron akan turun dari epsawat kepresidenan dalam kunjungan kenegaraanya di Vietnam pekan lalu.
Namun di momen itu Macron tetap berusaha profesional dengan melambaikan tangan ke arah para jurnalis.
Diketahui Trump dan Macron adalah dua pemimpin negara yang dikenal punya hubungan cukup akrab sejak Macron menjabat pada 2017.
