Mahfud MD Setuju Gabung Komite Reformasi Kepolisian Bentukan Prabowo: Siap Bantu dalam Tim

Kesediaannya itu disampaikan langsung kepada Sekretaris Kabinet (Seskab) Teddy Indra Wijaya yang menemui Mahfud pada Selasa (16/9/2025).
Mahfud menegaskan ikut membantu dalam tim reformasi Polri.
Mahfud mengaku dapat membantu Prabowo dalam rencananya mereformasi Polri dan memandangnya sebagai bagian kontribusi untuk negara.
Meski sudah setuju bergabung dengan Komite Reformasi Kepolisian bentukan Prabowo, Mahfud tidak ingin membahas soal posisinya.
Pada kesempatan ini Mahfud menjelaskan, ada tiga hal yang harus diperbaiki dalam kaitannya tentang penegakan hukum.
Di antaranya yakni aturannya, aparatnya, dan budaya.
Sedangkan diskusinya dengan sejumlah elite Polri, ada tiga hal yang harus dievaluasi, yaitu struktur, kultur, dan instrumen.
"Nah struktural ini udah jadi, enggak ada masalah. Polri kan sudah lepas dari TNI, itu kan strukturnya sudah selesai dan ada sudah undang-undang yang mengatur," ujar Mahfud.
